Training & Performance Highlights

Steph has been acting and performing in community theatre since childhood. She took ballet and tap at Northwest Ballet Academy in Hoffman Estates for several years, played piano, and enjoyed singing in choir. She was a part of the Madrigal Singers at HEHS and had several principal roles in plays and musicals in high school and college. Her favorites include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia), Jekyll and Hyde (Emma Carew), Wizard of Oz (Glinda), As It Is In Heaven (Izzy), and Stand and Deliver (Anna Delgado). In addition, Steph competed in her high school speech team with a focus on Dramatic and Humorous Acting and Group Interpretation. 

Teaching Experience

As a high school teacher, Steph coached high school speech for 15 years, coaching over 100 students who qualified for the IHSA State Speech Competition, and directed 9 state qualifying Performance in the Round contest plays. She has also directed One Act Plays and volunteers with the CGHS Tech Crew.

Personal

Steph lives in Cary with her family of five and loves being a mom to three young kids. Steph’s honored to work with and support anyone who loves the performing arts - especially K-12 students.
